Retaining the body shape of a classic S shaped solid body electric, a Saguaro Sedona is 1.75" thick at the bottom strap button and being wedge shaped, it tapers to about 0.800" thick at the upper strap button. This leaves a heel thickness of only 0.3" thick. The body is contructed of a two piece top and two piece bottom. To give the thinner heel strength, inside the body is a 7075 aluminum "S Block".

The block ties the neck joint to the bridge tremolo studs. To fit a standard sized tremolo block and springs, the back of a Sedona is carrved with a raised section or trem bulge. The tremolo cover is recessed into the trem bulge.

At it's thickest point, the bulge only protrudes about 1/4" from the body. The contours of the bulge seem to fit well with the tummy cut such that I do not notice it when holding the guitar. The tummy cut is much smaller on a Sedona then a normal 1.75" thick body as the wedge shape reduces the need for it.

Below are several images showing a Saguaro Sedona body.
